YOLO Project is more than just a charity; it's a way of living. It's about being a good person, helping others, and performing random acts of kindness. This project is also to encourage everyone to live life to the absolute fullest. That means taking risks, accepting challenges, and going on adventures.
My name is Laura Neff. I just graduated from UCLA and I'm at that post-grad-not-really-sure-what-to-do-with-my-life phase. In an attempt to avoid reality I decided to go on a five-month backpacking trip around Europe and Africa. I recently returned and I can't wait to go on my next adventure!
The most life-changing experience of my travels was having the opportunity to volunteer in Tanzania and Kenya. I have been wanting to go to Africa ever since I can remember. I don't know what made me so passionate about it, but my dream has always been to help orphans in impoverished countries. I feel so blessed that I finally had the opportunity to go on this adventure. My goal is to eventually raise enough money to start my own orphanage in Africa.
